    We are by choice a small intimate safari camp offering personalized service. Our Camp comprises 10 spacious Guest Tents, tastefully decorated in safari-style with high quality furnishings.     Samburu Lodge

    Located inside the Samburu National Reserve in Northern Kenya, Samburu Sopa lodge is built atop high ground allowing panaromic views of the vastness of Samburu shrub land and the hills beyond.

    The lodge is built to reflect the architectural heritage of the local communities whose sons and daughters make up the majority of the work force at the lodge.  Fifteen cottages, each with two bedrooms are built in an arch formation on either side of the public areas to surround the waterhole but leaving a wide gap to allow the animals free movement to the water.

    1. Day 1 Nairobi

      On arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport you will be met by your guide & vehicle,then transferred to the Stanley Hotel for overnight stay on breakfast basis.

    2. Day 2 Mount Kenya

      After breakfast you will be picked up by your guide & vehicle, and set off by driving to Mount Kenya.
      Arriving in time for lunch at Bantu Lodge. Mount Kenya rises to about 5199 m and as such is the tallest mountain Kenya.
      The mountain has been recognized as a UNESCO Natural World Heritage site and a wildlife sanctuary.
      Tea, dinner and overnight Serena Mountain lodge on breakfast and dinner basis.

    3. Days 3 - 4 Samburu

      Day 3: This morning we drive across the Equator to the edge of the Northern Frontier where the game reserves Buffalo Springs, Shaba and Samburu are located. Here the terrain flattens out and has a distinct bush feel to it.

      Day 4: Today the full day is dedicated to enjoying the unique beauty of the Samburu Game Reserve. The multi stemmed palms (Hyphaene compressa) that grow freely along the river, add to the dramatic scenery.
      A healthy elephant population as well as big cats including cheetah and leopard make for a memorable Kenya safari.

    4. Day 5 Mount Kenya

      Early morning drive and then proceed to the world famous Mount Kenya Safari Club to relax and enjoy the facilities. Afternoon free to take an optional excursion to Ol Pejeta Game Sanctuary or even a fishing trip nearby (at an extra cost).

    5. Day 6 Lake Baringo

      Morning drive via Nyahururu Falls down to Lake Baringo with picnic lunches. Later a drive to the beautiful Lake Baringo. In the evening a relaxing guided bird walk.

    6. Day 7 Lake Nakuru

      Morning drive down the floor of the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. The park was once described as the most fabulous bird spectacle in the world and it spans an attractive range of wooded and bush grassland around the lake, offering wide ecological diversity – from the lake waters, woodland to the rocky escarpment and ridges.

      After lunch, you will have an afternoon game drive which will give you the opportunity to view various wildlife both predatory and plains game, not forgetting the abundance of birdlife. ​This park also serves as home to both the white and black rhino.

    7. Days 8 - 10 Masai Mara Game Reserve

      Day 8: Breakfast, and depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch and later an afternoon game drive.

      A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeests, zebra, and gazelles from the Serengeti plains across the Tanzania border and Mara River to reach Masai Mara grazing fields.
      The dramatic crossing of the river and the preying on the migrants by predators can be viewed early June to August. The Mara has got also thousand of species of bird life and plant life.

      Day 9 – 10: The whole day is spent enjoying the untamed beauty of the Mara.
      ​Picnic lunch can be organized in advance so that you can enjoy unhurried game viewing. Vast herds of wildebeest and zebra wander across the Mara grasslands, their numbers increasing during the annual migration from Serengeti. Lion, leopard and cheetah follow close behind, while crocodile and hippo congregate in the Mara and Talek rivers.

    8. Day 11 Masai Mara - Nairobi

      Early morning game drive followed by breakfast.
      Return to Nairobi in time for lunch on own account.
