    Okaukuejo Rest Camp

    Famous for its floodlit waterhole Okaukuejo Rest Camp is also the administrative centre of Etosha. Most visitors travel though this camp with its characteristic stone tower and Etosha Ecological Institute is also situated within the camp.

    The rest camp was formerly a military outpost founded in 1901 and the tower was added in 1963. Located in the south of Etosha National Park, Okaukuejo is only 17 km from Anderson Gate.

    Halali Campsite

    In an otherwise flat area Halali Camp is perched between a few hills and koppies. Thicker vegetation makes this popular with leopard, rhino and elephant. Situated halfway between Namutoni and Okaukuejo the Halali Rest Camp centrally located in close proximity of some of the most popular waterholes of the Etosha National Park. A short walk will take you to the camp’s floodlit waterhole with excellent day and night game viewing.

    1. Day 1 Meet & Greet Airport Johannesburg

      After the meet & greet we drive you to your overnight stay at Safari Club near OR Tambo airport.

    2. Day 2 Upington, South Africa

      After an peaceful night of sleep your 4×4 vehicle will be dropped off at Safari Club. You will be explained about the vehicle and then its time to hit the road on your way to Upington for your overnight stay at Bain’s House bed & breakfast

    3. Days 3 - 4 Fish River Canyon, Namibia

      Today its time to leave South Africa and enter Namibia.
      An early start of the day which will bring you to the Hobas Campsite for your overnight stay.

    4. Days 5 - 6 Klein Aus, Namibia

      It is time to head for your next destination which is Klein Aus.

    5. Days 7 - 8 Namibia - Naukluft National Park, Namibia

      This morning you drive a serious amazing drive to Namib Naukluft National Park.

      Your overnight stay will be the Sossus Oasis Campsite.

    6. Days 9 - 10 Swakopmund, Namibia

      The last few days you had to deal with lots of dust so now its time to have some fresh air at the coast at Swakopmund. Enjoy a nice drink on the pier in the late afternoon and see the sun go down into the sea.

      Overnight at Alte Brucke Campsite

    7. Days 11 - 13 Damaraland, Namibia

      Day 11: A beautiful drive to your next lay-over at White Lady Campsite at Brandberg.

      Days 12 – 13: Damaraland is the land of beautiful dressed ladies. The ladies wear their traditional costumes.

      Overnight stay at Palmwag Campsite

    8. Days 14 - 17 Etosha National Park, Namibia

      Day 14: Maybe you were able to spot some nice wild animals during your drives but now you enter big 5 country. Keep your eyes open the next few days within Etosha National Park.

      Overnight at Okaukuejo Campsite

      Day 15: Within amazing Etosha National Park you move to the next campsite.

      Today you make your way to Halali Campsite.

      Day 16 – 17: The next 2 nights to can enjoy your last days in Etosha National Park.

      Your overnight stay will be at the Onguna Tamboti Campsite.

    9. Day 18 Windhoek, Namibia

      After a long but easy drive from Etosha National Park to Windhoek you reached your last night lay-over.

    10. Day 19 Windhoek, Airport

      Today you drop off your 4×4 vehicle at the Windhoek International Airport.
