Uganda 11 days

Day 2: After breakfast we will drive to Murchison Falls National Park. En-route we will visit a rhino sanctuary at Ziwa. There you will track the rhinos with a specialised ranger and after this tracking we enjoy our lunch here.

As soon as our lunch has been eaten we continue our drive to Murchison Falls where we will arrive late afternoon.

Day 3: After a good night sleep and a healthy breakfast we head out into the bush for the morning game drive to search for lion, buffalo, elephant and many more animals.

In the afternoon you will go for a boat cruise on the river Nile, the habitat of hippo, crocodile and many birds. You will hike to the top of the Falls where the driver will pick you up and bring you back to the camp where you will enjoy a fantastic dinner.

Day 4: After breakfast we drive directly to Kibale Forest National Park, the home of the chimpanzees.
On the way we will visit a tea plantation to see the tea processed. We will have lunch here and after lunch we will contunue to Kibale Forest.

Day 5: In the morning you go for a chimpanzee tracking with a specialized ranger/guide.

After you come back we return to the lodge for a relaxed afternoon.

Optional is instead of relaxing doing a walk to the Bigodi Wetland (swamp) with a specialized guide where you can see many types of monkeys (13 different type of monkeys).

Day 6: After breakfast we will visit the Crater Lakes and make a walk here. After we finish the walk we proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park where we will have lunch.

In the afternoon we can visit the salt lake to see how the salt is mined (optional) or we head to the lodge and have a relaxing afternoon?

Day 7: We will do a game drive lion tracking with a researcher in the morning and visit a fishermen’s village. After that we return to the lodge for a well earned lunch.

In the afternoon we have a boat cruise planned for you on the Kazinga Channel to spot hippo, crocodile and abundant bird spicies.

Day 8: Today we head towards Bwindi National Park the home of Mountain Gorillas. We will arrive at the accommodation in time for lunch.

In the afternoon it is time to relax and prepare yourself for the up hill hike the next day to find the gorillas in the forest.

Day 9: We really hope you had a good night sleep because today you will be guided during your up hill hike to the gorillas (gorilla tracking). The lenght of the walk depends on how far into the mountains the gorilla family will be or hide.

When you come back you can do an community walk to get in contact with local people. An optional visit which you can do is to visit the Pigmy people.

After breakfast and check out we drive to Lake Mburo National Park. In this park we can find topi, eland, impala and Buffalo.
We have an afternoon boat cruise in mind for you this afternoon. Relax on a boat, cruising the lake. When you come back from the boat cruise we go for an evening game drive.

Overnight at Rwakobo Rock on a full board basis.

Before breakfast you will have an early morning nature walk together with an experienced ranger/guide to have a face-to-face experience with animals (optional). After you come back at the lodge you can enjoy a nicely prepared breakfast.

After this we go out for our last game drive of this holiday. Your driver/guide will drive you back to Entebbe nicely on time for your connecting flight.

On our way to Entebbe we will stop for a short moment because we cross the Equator.

Unfortunately this is the end of a beautiful trip we did together.
