    1. Days 1 - 3 Arrival at Livingstone Airport

On arrival at Livingstone Airport, you will be met and transferred by road to Maramba River Lodge. Ideally located just 4km from the Victoria Falls and just outside of Livingstone, Zambia. Maramba River Lodge provides a most attractive all-year-round accommodation base in a shaded woodland setting. The Lodge is situated on a bluff overlooking the Maramba River.

We are often visited by the resident wildlife with elephant wandering through the grounds at certain times of the year.

The days at Maramba Lodge are to be filled in the way you like. Its a perfect place to relax at the pool side and watch the birdlife around the river which flows just next to the lodge. If you would like to be more active visit the Victoria Falls and enjoy a helicopter ride, a nice walk along the Mighty Falls or walk to the bridge between Zambia and Zimbabwe. To visit the bridge you need your passport but it is free of charge.

Before you enter the bridge please visit the immigration office for a stamp and a temporary permit to visit the bridge. At the Zambia side of the bridge you have a restaurant on your left hand side with a beautiful view over the river and the bungy jump activities half way the bridge. For about $ 100,- its your turn to do the bungy but just watch it is fair enough.

Six luxury safari tents provide all the comforts of a lodge without sacrificing the pleasures of a camping experience. Each tent is individually decorated to a theme with our own handcrafted furniture. The en-suite bathroom is tiled throughout with a shower open to the African sky. Tents are available with twin beds, doubles and singles.

Maramba’s private chalets are spacious and airy and nestle under mopane and mahogany trees. All the rustic, thatched chalets have creative mukwa and wrought iron fittings, en-suite tiled bathrooms, mosquito proofing with treated nets, ceiling fans, internal safe, and views over the Maramba River or floodlit waterhole.

Overnight: Maramba River Lodge on a Bed & Breakfast basis

    2. Days 4 - 9 Wildlife Camp, South Luangwa National Park

This morning following breakfast, you will be transferred by road back to Livingstone Airport where you will connect to a scheduled flight via Lusaka to Mfuwe. On arrival at Mfuwe, you will be collected and transferred by road to the Wildlife Camp.

The game drives are twice a day but if you would like to do a game walk then you are most welcome to ask one of your ranger to guide you because game walks are their specialty.
